These are Electrical Outlets for the Vario BK 117. The small outlets are placed above the sliding doos on the fuselage. The large outlet panel can be placed on the port or starboard side near the front skid. The Electrical Outlets are non functional. Wires can be attached to them by drilling small holes in the tops.
Each Electrical Outlets set includes each of the parts shown in the image below. The set is offered as "raw castings" and "ready to be installed".
The Electrical Outlets set will need to be removed from the "raw casting". The parts will require washing and they will contain some flashing which will need to be cleaned off. The casting can be applied to the fuselage with CA or epoxy after the surface of both the model and the back of the casting have been lightly sanded.
The “ready to be installed” version will be cleaned, sanded, and will have two coats of primer paint added.
