These are Skid Supports for the Vario BK 117. This Skid Supports are placed on the fuselage at each skid.
Each Skid Support set includes four (4) three piece parts. The sets can be purchased as "raw castings" or "ready to be installed".
The Skid Support sets will need to be removed from the "raw casting". They will require washing and it will contain some flashing which will need to be cleaned off.
The “ready to be installed” Skid Support will be cleaned, sanded, assembled, and will have two coats of primer paint added. The bottom surface will remain unpainted to allow for easy application to the fuselage.
The Skid Support sets can be attached to the fuselage with CA or epoxy after the surface of both the model and the bottom surface of the casting have been lightly sanded.
