Part for Vario small Bell 47
This is the main interior for the Vario Bell 47 G II model. The kit is based on the cockpit of the Bell 47 D-1. This resin cast kit includes the floor, the seat, the back wall, and main control console. After assembly these parts will all be held in place with small screws attached to mounting brackets. The brackets will be glued to the inside of the fuselage. The whole cockpit interior area must be removable to access the batteries and the Rx.
The frames for the Vario Benzin, Vario Skyfox, and the aftermarket frames from ASI. will protrude into the cockpit area. The back wall and the seat will have to be cut to fit. The modeler has two choices. One, is to cut and remove the material around the frames. Two, trim around the frames and keep as much of the back wall and seat as the possible depending on the frames of the mechanics.
For the "raw castings", the cockpit interior parts will need to be removed from the sprues. The parts will require washing and they may contain some flashing which will need to be cleaned off. Each part may need the bottom edges shaped to fit the fuselage curve of your model. Remimber - the fiberglass fuselage could have some variation in size as they are all made one at a time.
