Original Fuselage - Sikorsky S-55 (H-19)

This is the Sikorsky S-55 helicoper, also known by the military name, H-19. Some will recoginize this helicopter from the Thomas the Tank Engine series. This helicopter was used as the base for Harold the Helicopter.

This S-55 model is currently designed to be powered by Vario Benzin mechanics. The electric Vario mechanics could also be used. A turbine power plant is not currently in the plans but it may be possible for a larger scale version.

This model will include opening side cabin door, opening nose doors, and a cockpit model too. The plan is to have an operating winch which will be made by Heliscale .

The finished fuselage will be fiberglass with carbon fiber reinforcing where needed.
